Kevin Boyd is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Sports Injuries Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Leicester in the United Kingdom, where he is Head of the Sport and Exercise Medicine Department. He specialises in knee, shoulder and foot & ankle problems including surgery for overuse syndromes and tendinopathies. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine of the United Kingdom. He is Chair of the British Swimming Medical Committee and Secretary of the FINA Sport Medicine Committee. He is a former Olympic swimmer.
