Bio:
 
Balázs Virth, studied at the University of Budapest, and currently coaches at the UTE Swimming Club in Hungary. He was an Olympic Coach and part of the Hungarian National Team since 2004, attending all the Olympic Games and World Championships since then with his athletes.  He has coached one of the best breast stroke swimmers in the history of swimming, Daniel Gyurta, leading him to achieve the gold medal in London 2012 Olympic Games and setting a world record at the 200m breaststroke. Virth was also part of Gyurta’s achievements in winning gold medals at the FINA World Championships in 2009, 2011 and 2013, as well as a Bronze medal in 2015 among many others. Virth, has also worked with otherOlympic and  FINA World Championship medallists, Kapás Boglárk, Éva Risztov and Gergely Gyurta. 
 
Balázs Virth has written several publications and done analysis of the Hungarian Swimming Federation and Hungarian Olympic Committee with the Budapest University of Physical Education.
